Pier2Pier regularly use Investment Logic Mapping (ILM), part of Victoria’s Investment Management Standard developed by the Department of Treasury and Finance.

ILM was designed to address investment processes that focus on compliance rather than clearly articulating need, benefits and value.

ILM builds a strong investment case by clearly defining the problem, the proposed interventions and the benefits to be delivered. The process centres on facilitated, two-hour workshops that bring key stakeholders together to agree the investment story, which is then captured on a single-page Investment Logic Map in plain language.

Pier2Pier uses ILM to inform both business case development and subsequent transaction processes.
